That’s why, together with NTNU, we’ve created an idea competition for students, where you can win support to develop, test or scale your project. All you need is an idea.
The 2026 edition of Innovate for Better was held in February.
Applications for the next round will open in the autumn this year.
What is Innovate for Better?
Innovate for Better is a competition established by Equinor in collaboration with the Norwegian University of Science and Technology (NTNU).
It is open to all students in Trondheim. To participate, you need a concrete idea, a project, or a startup that contributes to positive improvement or impact
Your idea does not need to be related to energy or Equinor’s business.
